Interested in being a CHANGE MAKER on Staten Island?

Continuing with our commitment to equity in the arts, we are excited to announce a FREE workshop series built for artists and community members interested in coming together to work towards social justice under the lens of art and culture.

The goal of this series is to provide participants with an opportunity to community build and acquire the necessary tools to begin dismantling systems of oppression internally, through their art practice, within an office environment, and/or in their own neighborhoods. With an opportunity for self-reflection and a more clear understanding of how institutions and systems are producing unjust and inequitable outcomes, participants will emerge from the series better equipped to begin to work for change. A key component to the training will be the opportunity for participants to join a community cohort that will provide support for one another after the workshops are completed.

ABOUT OUR FACILITATOR | Participants will be guided through this workshop series by Rebecca Kelly Golfman.
