Learn the popular craft of letterpress printing in this 1-day workshop. You’ll get hands-on experience with the full letterpress printing process using our vintage cast iron tabletop platen letterpress printers. Topics covered include:

• Exploring the tabletop letterpress printer, tools and accessories

• Hand setting vintage metal and wood type

• Setting up your print

• Inking and printing your design

• Cleaning and caring for the press

Important Notes:

• Tabletop platen presses are made to print small paper items like postcards, business cards, greeting cards, etc.

• All paper and printing supplies will be provided.

• If you wish to print on paper or with ink other than what is provided, please bring it with you.

• Wear clothes that you don't mind getting ink on.
