The NYC Winter Lantern Festival, hosted at Snug Harbor Cultural Center and Botanical Garden last year, is making it’s return to Staten Island starting November 20. The exhibition will return to Snug Harbor, bringing more than 1,000 LED installations to the grounds.
Last year, the festival attracted more than 150,000 visitors during its six-week run. The event is being produced by New York Events & Entertainment (NEWYORKEE) and Haitian Culture, co-produced by Octane Productions. This festival of lights is sponsored by Empire Outlets, Media Partner, Staten Island Advance and venue partner, Snug Harbor Cultural Center & Botanical Garden.
The impressive LED lantern displays will be accompanied by live performances of traditional Chinese dances, art and indigenious cuisine.
General admission is $23 per person, $20 for students and seniors with proper ID, $17 for children 12 years old and younger. A group ticket rate for those with a party of 30 or more get in for $18 per person. Tickets are available on NYCwinterlanternfestival.com.
