For the Newhouse After Dark series, Carl Gallagher will perform a combination of new and/or reworked original compositions in the Main Hall, some solo and some with a small combo. The show will focus on electric and steel guitar, and will be all instrumental. The musical arrangements will be tailored specifically to the aim of making best use of the natural sound of the room, and the show will be recorded live to a 1/4” analog tape machine with the intent of being released freely online.
